Wednesday
On Wednesday night, October 21, we're looking at what the Bible says about "How to Pray Effectively." This is a very informative look at four things that will help you to pray more effectively. You don't want to miss this exciting study!
Prayer
We also spend time in intercessory prayer immediately following the Bible study each Wednesday night. This is a powerful time for the Body of Christ to pray together for special and urgent needs. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. James 5:16 (NIV)
Our kids will also be ministered to in kmotion by Pastor Barbara. Join us for Worship, the Word and Prayer each Wednesday evening at 7:00p.
Sunday
This Sunday, October 25, the WECC fellowship will gather together to worship and celebrate the Lord Jesus! There'll be awesome praise and worship, Holy Communion, fellowship, prayer and relevant preaching of the Word.
This Sunday is also our annual Missions Convention and our theme is "Every way." Our special guest ministers will be Rev. Rodney & Amie Goodlett, dear friends of Pastor and Dana. The Goodletts will be sharing their ministry to high school students/campuses across Kentucky. The family worship experience begins at 10:00a. Pastor Barbara and Ms. Sandi will also be ministering to our children in kidz konnect. Nursery is also available.
Location
This current location for WECC gives us room to grow and more opportunities to reach and serve the people in the Meadowthrope/Masterson Station areas. We're located at 1403 N. Forbes Rd., Ste. 130-150, next door to Hattie's and across the street from the Speedway on Leestown Rd. Look for the green awning with West End Community Church on it and all the cars out in front. We would love for you to be our special guest this week!
WE'VE EXPANDED TO BETTER SERVE YOU! Do to our growth, West End has acquired aditional space that will give us a larger sanctuary to accomodate more people. We've been worshipping in the new addition since summer. Kidz Konnect has occupied our former sanctuary for their ministry area. We give the Lord praise for this additional space!
